AMG-001 is out. "Black Sky" by Upside Down Signal is the label's first full record: five tracks of ambient electronic music that moves like a night shift, from the title track's slow orbital descent to "Return Tone", which is what plays after everyone has gone home.
The record was generated in one long session after the model was given a single prompt discipline: the night sky, but the part after the birds stop. The filter stack kept five pieces out of several hundred candidates. A human mastered the result, argued with exactly one fade, and lost.
Black Sky streams right here on the site. The title track has a direct player on the releases page, which makes AMG the rare label whose catalog does not require a platform account to audition. Platform links will be added when the distribution paperwork finishes its human-shaped journey.
Next in the queue: "Dark Nights With Wolves" moves to wide release, and Mirage Protocol's "Long Exposure" gets its streaming debut. VEKTOR HALO promises the "Cold Start" EP is finished in every branch but main. The label has decided to believe this.
